Blurb/Synopsis:
The Deamhan world is in disarray. Freed from Limbo, Lucius,
the once feared and Ancient Lugat, goes on a killing spree to wipe out any
remaining traitors in the city of Minneapolis. Meanwhile The Brotherhood's
return along with the growing population of vampires riles up the remaining
Deamhan who choose to stay behind rather than abandon the city.
The body count continues to pile up forcing both humans and
Deamhan to pick a side. Either allow Lucius to free the Pure Ones, the first
living Deamhan from Limbo, or take him out and cripple their already fragile
presence in the city.
They walked down the hall and to the room. They saw Selene
standing near a wide open window with her back to the door and to Anastasia’s
surprise, Lucius standing off to her right. The large room encompassed the
length of three large master bedrooms. A bed was lined up against the wall with
several packed suitcases on top of it. Selene looked over her shoulder,
frowning at Anastasia but her piercing eyes revealed a woman who still had
something up her sleeve.
“I told you we couldn’t trust her.” Selene stared wildly at
Lucius.
A look of disappointment appeared on Lucius’ face.
“And she brought her annoying friend.” Selene’s green eyes
circled to Remy.
Remy’s eyes tapered and he quickly turned to Anastasia. “We’re
about to die, aren’t we?”
“There’s a high probability,” Anastasia muttered to him.
“So I guess I should just say what’s on my mind.” He cleared
his throat, preparing for his speech. “Believe it or not I’m a Deamhan that
follows Decretums.” He looked toward Selene. “Your Decretum, in particular,
demands that Veronica be protected at any cost. So, yeah, whatever happened to
that?”
Selene’s eyes narrowed in on Remy. “You need to leave. This
doesn’t concern you.”
“Hey, we’re all sorry that Lucius was thrown into Limbo, but
what you’re both trying to do now...it isn’t right and you know it,” Remy said.
“And what makes you think my stint in Limbo was wrong?”
Lucius asked him. “It was the best thing to ever happen to me.”
Remy burst out in laughter. “You’re kidding, right?” His
eyes moved to Anastasia. “He’s kidding, right?”
Anastasia allowed her body to tense up and at any moment she
felt that Lucius would strike Remy down in a single blow. She wanted to avoid
any confrontation and hoped to sway Selene with words alone.
“We don’t have time for this.” Lucius looked to Selene and
nodded. “Go. I’ll join you shortly.”
Anastasia didn’t want to Selene to leave. She would miss her
opportunity to get her alone and if she made one move to follow her, Lucius
would easily manhandle her.
Selene walked over to the bed and she picked up a long brown
jacket with a white ruffled collar. She slid the jacket over her body and
adjusted it. “You made a mistake coming here.”
“What makes you both think that once you release them, they’ll
welcome us with open arms?”
“Because we are their children, Anastasia, and good children
obey their parents.”

Imagine Dark Curse on
the Big Screen for the world to enjoy. Who would you want to play your
characters? Pick 4 or 5 of your characters and tell us who you would want to
play them in a movie and why them.
1. Lucius – Nikolaj Coster-Waldau
As an avid viewer of Games of Thrones, Jaimie is known for
his cunningness, his brutality, and his weird and creepy relationship with his
sister. Given that Jaimie Lannister is a conundrum and in this current season,
it’s unsure if he’s going to stick by his sister’s side and do her psychotic
bidding or if he’s the one in the prophecy that will take her life. With all
this, I believe that Nikolaj has the acting ability to bring Lucius to the
screen. Not only is Lucius known to forgive Deamhan for their actions, he’s
also known to strike down those who stand against him and his agenda. He’s a
complex character with much thought, wit, and vileness and Nikolaj has the
ability to play the character well.
2. Remy – Taylor Kitsch
Remy is considered a middle aged Deamhan but he’s
been through much more than many older Deamhan. Born into a bourgeoisie family,
he has no choice but to tear back his sheltered life if he wants to survive in
the dark world of Deamhan. Plus he considers himself a ladies man so to speak.
I believe that Taylor Kitsch has the acting ability to bring this character to
life on screen with his attractive looks and his younger appearance.
3. Anastasia - Anna Mouglalis
Anna is relatively unknown to American audiences
and so is Anastasia. I’d want an actress to show the Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde
persona that Anastasia has and I think as an actress Anna Mouglalis can pull
that off. Anastasia is a brutal killer who Deamhan fear. She is also loyal and
is currently facing a dilemma within herself which spills out to those around
her. Not to mention, her first name is Anna.
4. Lambert - Jack Savoretti
A vampire who stands by the side of Deamhan is hard to find
yet Lambert is such one vampire. The owner of Dark Sepulcher, he tries to keep
the peace between his own vampires and Deamhan by offering an establishment in
the city where supernatural beings can be themselves. Like
Anna Mouglalis, I believe that an unknown actor can bring this character to
life on screen. Jack Savoretti, an English singer of Italian descent, has the
looks and the voice that fits Lambert’s cool and collective persona perfectly.
