Things would be perfect if supernatural disasters would quit creeping up and ruining Giselle’s happy new life. After finally finding the fur-ever home she’s always wanted a witch blows into town promising to reveal the bloody past of Giselle’s birth, and the circumstances that led the little werewolf to end up in the foster care system to begin with.
Hot on the witch’s trail, another pack of wolves is on the hunt for revenge, and will accept nothing less than her death in retribution for the havoc she’s wrought on them.
Caught in the crossfire, Giselle desires only the truth, and if the witch is who she claims to be, the little werewolf must protect her at any cost. If she’s lying, though, Giselle risks her own kind seeing her as a traitor. Neither her new pack nor her hottie witch boyfriend Damien can offer any help.
Giselle is on her own again. And if she makes the wrong decision, she’ll lose the only link she has to her own past.

SAMPLE

They eyed each other silently, neither one offering up a word to start the conversation.
In the quiet between them, Giselle studied the scent. Definitely a perfume: natural oils of patchouli had been mixed with clary sage and just a hint of citronella. It worked well to mask the other synthetic smells of deodorant and floral soap that still clung to her body, but not well enough to trick Giselle’s nose. This woman was no wolf. She was definitely a witch, though. The pendant she wore was enough to give that away, and the Bohemian style clothing with flowing skirts and odd colorful patterns screamed “earth mother.”
The woman closed the distance between them after the silence had long since gone stale. “You do recognize me, don’t you?” There was an oddly hopeful edge in the woman’s voice that caught Giselle off guard.
Should she recognize her? Sure, they both were redheads. But how many other ginger women in the world were there? That meant nothing. And if she was being truly honest with herself, all the faces of all the foster families that had taken her in and subsequently sent her back into the system had long since blurred together into one wretched image in her mind. If this woman had been a part of the foster system, she was barking up the wrong tree if she thought Giselle would welcome her back into her life with open arms.
“Sorry. No.” Giselle crossed her arms in front of her and stood firmly in place.
“Oh, but how could you?” A tear trickled from the corner of the woman’s eye. “I just thought… You were such a tiny thing the last time I held you in my arms.”
Giselle scoffed silently, remembering all the broken promises and false hope that came with each new family that took her in. “Lots of people held me in their arms… and dropped me just as quickly.”
Her words seemed to cut straight to the woman’s heart. More waterworks had her wiping her cheeks with the billowy sleeve of her shirt. “I know. I wish I could have given you a different life. You were meant for so much better things. But…I… sorry.” She sniffled, taking a few stuttered breaths, and then cleared her throat. “Giselle, I am so very sorry.”
“I never told you my name.” The woman’s tears had tugged at Giselle’s heart, but at the mention of her name, she was back on point. How much did this woman know of who she was? And why?
“I didn’t mean to come off so forward. I have just been searching for you for so long.” The woman reached a hand out as if to welcome her in for a hug, but Giselle took one step backwards, out of her reach.
Giselle opened her mouth to speak, but the words refused to come. The woman had all but admitted to being her mother. She had certainly made a show of emotions. But sad as they were, her sobs failed to stir the same feelings within Giselle. Numbness and confusion had Giselle’s feelings locked tighter than a bank vault. If she was her mother… But that wasn’t possible. She was no wolf.

Release day will be here before you know it. Snag the PreOrder now and be first in line to see if the witch is telling Giselle the truth or not.

Learning to breathe Again by: Kelli Heneghan w/ Interview

Series: Texas Learning Book 2 (but Read as a Standalone)
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Publisher: Self-Published
Release Date: April 6 2016
Edition/Formats: eBook & Print on Demand via Amazon
Blurb/Synopsis:

Bayleigh Morrow just wants to hide from the world for a little while, recover from all the knocks she’s been taking lately.  What better place than small-town Texas, where she can reconnect with her brother, meet her new sister-in-law, and just be left alone?
Jack Williams has no intention of ever falling in love again.  One betrayal was enough for him.  But when Bayleigh almost collapses in his office, he’s determined to help her and keep her safe.
Stranded by an ice storm, Jack is the only one there to pick up the pieces when she has a panic attack.  Sparks begin to fly and flames ignite as these two love-wary souls find their way out of the darkness and learn to breathe again.

He stroked her back with his left hand, his right hand resting beneath her rib cage.  He wanted her closer, wanted to feel her against him. Her hands clenched against his chest.  Damn, she’s reached her limit.  Prepared to stop, she surprised him by pulling him in closer, her hands now fisted in his shirt.  He stroked her tongue with his, retreating, pushing in…a dance as old as time.  And she responded to each movement.  Against the hand on her ribs, he could feel her heart as it raced and his own pulse sped up.  She moaned, or was that him?  Hell if he knew, or even cared at this point.
He needed to put the brakes on now, before he did something stupid, like sweep everything off the desk and lay her down.  That image should not be in his mind.  He broke off the kiss, resting his forehead on hers.  Her breathing was ragged, but it didn’t have that wheeze it would get with her panic attacks.  His hands rubbed over her back in soothing strokes, enjoying the moment of holding her in his arms.  The occasional car drove by outside, and the ornate clock on the wall ticked, the sound loud and obnoxious in the near silence of the outer office.  It was just the two of them for now.  He simply held her and waited.  Her hands relaxed and he moved his head so he could see her face.

Planting His Dream by: Andrew Grey w/ Giveaway

Title: Planting his Dream
Author: Andrew Grey
Series: Standalone
Genre:  M/M, Contemporary Romance
Publisher: Dreamspinner Press
Release Date: April 11 2016
Edition/Formats Available In: eBook & Print
Blurb/Synopsis:
Foster dreams of getting away, but after his father's death, he has to take over the family dairy farm. It soon becomes clear his father hasn't been doing the best job of running it, so not only does Foster need to take over the day-to-day operations, he also needs to find new ways of bringing in revenue.
Javi has no time to dream. He and his family are migrant workers, and daily survival is a struggle, so they travel to anywhere they can get work. When they arrive in their old van, Foster arranges for Javi to help him on the farm.

To Javi’s surprise, Foster listens to his ideas and actually puts them into action. Over days that turn into weeks, they grow to like and then care for each other, but they come from two very different worlds, and they both have responsibilities to their families that neither can walk away from. Is it possible for them to discover a dream they can share? Perhaps they can plant their own and nurture it together to see it grow, if their different backgrounds don’t separate them forever.

Foster jumped, dropping the hose. He hadn’t expected anyone.
“Sorry,” Javi said as he stepped forward. He was soaked to the skin, and Foster guessed he’d walked over. “I need some work.” He shuffled his feet nervously. “Things have not gone well.”
Foster had guessed that. “Can you hose down the floor and milking stations?” Foster wondered how Javi kept from shivering, but he picked up the hose and started cleaning everything. Foster went to work on the milking machines, making sure they were spotless. “Mop the floor in the milk room too.” Foster figured he might as well get a leg up on his chores. He went to the loft and brought down some hay for the feeders along with the protein supplements. He added some silage, as well, to sweeten the mixture.
The rain had let up by the time he was done, and Foster pulled out his wallet and handed Javi some cash for the work he’d done. Javi shoved the bills into his pocket. Foster wanted to ask him what had happened and why they were so desperate, but the pride Foster saw in Javi’s eyes told him he could ask, but that answers wouldn’t be forthcoming.
“Do you need help tomorrow?” Javi asked.
Foster wasn’t going to be able to afford someone to help him all week, but he found himself nodding anyway. He knew his mother and grandmother would try to help them any way they could, so it was best to let Javi work and earn the money he needed to help his family. Foster knew that machismo, male pride, was huge in Latino culture. Getting Javi to take charity would be difficult. “If it’s nice, the garden will need to be tended and weeded.” After all the rain, what they’d planted would sprout overnight. “You can also help me shift the hay in the loft to help make room for the new cuttings.”
“I’ll get here early.”
“Do you want a ride back?” Foster asked. Javi shook his head. He left the barn, jogged out to the road, and then down toward the field. Foster watched him the entire time, enjoying the smooth way he moved. He had to force himself to turn away. He shouldn’t be having thoughts like this. He went back in the barn up to the loft and started the process of cleaning and shifting the hay. Moving the heavy bales was just the ticket to work away these thoughts about the gorgeous farm worker.
He retrieved the remaining wayward bales of hay from the edges and corners, placing them near the chute to the main floor, stacking them neatly and then going for more. Foster hated that he had these feelings. He’d heard since he was a toddler all about the evils of alcohol, smoking, and many more prohibitions from the front of the church. More than once he’d heard the prohibition about men lying with men and had sworn the minister had been looking right at him and could see into his soul. In the last year he’d been able to find a lot of chores that had to be done, so he hadn’t been going to church as often. In a roundabout way, he felt better not hearing that he was a godless sinner all the time.
“Foster,” his mother called up. “Your grandmother and I are going to town. Do you need anything?”
He checked his watch and realized he’d been working for hours. “Some snacks would be nice.” He climbed down. “When will you be back?”
“About an hour. We’ll make dinner then.” She left, and Foster went about the process of getting ready for milking, thinking that this was a much easier job with two people, but it was only him, so he might as well get to it. Besides, the work gave him something to think about other than the same set of eyes, light caramel-brown skin, and full lips that had stayed in his mind now for nearly a year. Part of him wished that Javi and his family hadn’t contacted his father about working. Then he wouldn’t be reminded of how he felt and could go on with his life. Not that he knew if Javi felt the same way.
He let in the first half the herd and started the milking process, noting the cows that were going to be getting ready to calve soon. He kept detailed records and made notes in his mind regarding when he’d need to separate them into the calving pens. The work never ended, and Foster got to it, finished the milking, cleaned up the barn, and went inside to have dinner. Afterward, he checked that everything was all set for the night before spending a quiet hour before going up to bed.
That night, as he lay in his bed, staring at the ceiling, tired and worn out, his mind would not let up. All he kept seeing was Javi, worn and hungry looking, at least to start. It didn’t take long before his mind put Javi, not smiling, his eyes filled with heat, standing near him, pulling off his shirt and then tugging at Foster’s. Javi pulled him close, their chests touching, breath heaving, lips finally exploring. The funny thing was that other than on the cheek, Foster had never kissed anyone, not the way that Javi kissed him in his fantasies, like he was reaching down deep to Foster’s heart and soul. As heated as he became, Foster shook his head and put a stop to his fantasy. This was not helping him. He needed to be strong.

Love Comes To Light by: Andrew Grey w/ Guest Post & Giveaway

Title: Love Comes to Light
Author: Andrew Grey
Series: Senses Series
Genre:  M/M, Contemporary Romance
Publisher: Dreamspinner Press
Release Date: Mar 18 2016
Edition/Formats Available In: eBook & Print
Blurb/Synopsis:
Artist Arik Bosler is terrified he might have lost his creative gift in the accident that left his hand badly burned. When he’s offered the chance to work with renowned artist Ken Brighton after winning a contest, Arik fears his injury will be too much to overcome.
He reluctantly travels to Pleasanton to meet Ken, where he runs into the intimidating Reg Thompson. Reg, a biker who customizes motorcycles, is a big man with a heart of gold who was rejected by most of his family. Arik is initially afraid of Reg because of his size, however it’s his heart that warms Arik’s interest and gets him to look past the exterior to let down his guard.
But Arik soon realizes that certain members of Reg’s motorcycle club are into things he can’t have any part of. Reg can’t understand why Arik disappears until he learns Arik’s injury was the result of his father’s drug activity. Though neither Reg nor Arik wants anything to do with drugs, the new leadership of Reg’s club might have other ideas.

“Let’s take a break,” Connor called after the saw whined down once again.
“Good idea,” Reg agreed. Patrick nodded and grabbed a bottle of water, then left the room. Reg followed him with his gaze, waiting until he’d left to ask, “What’s with that kid who’s staying with them?”
Connor shrugged. “I just met him, but I saw the way he acted.”
“Like he wanted to crawl inside a wall to get away from me. He stopped at the station for gas, and I expected him to make a run for it any second, acting like a scared rabbit.” Reg grabbed two bottles of water from the cooler and handed one to Connor.
“Did you see his hand?” Connor asked. “Maybe that has something to do with it. Those burns aren’t that old.” Connor grinned. “And let’s face it, you don’t project love and happiness, or have little bluebirds landing on your fingers.”
“Fuck no, I’m not a princess,” he growled and then sighed. “But that kid is cute as a button.” Reg knew it would be best if he put Arik out of his mind. The guy was scared as hell of him.
“Yeah, the growliness is the perfect way to keep the kid from running for the hills.”
Reg did it again. “I am who I am. Never claimed or tried to be anything but.” If he was big and strong, then no one messed with him and that was just fine. He’d taken more than his share of shit in his life, and he was done with that. “I’m going to hit the head. I’ll be back in a few, and we can finish this project.” He checked his watch. He had to be back at the gas station by six, but that should leave plenty of time to get this project done.
Reg knew the way. He went to the restroom off the entrance, waving to Claire, who was sitting behind the desk, as he passed. She was a biker chick at heart, and when he stopped by, they usually talked Harleys for a few minutes. He pushed the restroom door open and went inside. After taking care of business, he washed his hands and pulled the door open. Childish laughter rang through the hall. Reg glanced at Claire, who pointed to the activity room. More laughter followed, and Reg followed the sound. He peeked into the room.
“Mr. Reg!” Bobbie Jo raced over to him. “I heard you working.” She imitated the saw. “I didn’t bother you because that’s going to be my room when you’re all done.” She grinned, showing her missing front teeth. He lifted her into his arms and watched as Arik turned toward him and then quickly looked away again. “He’s showing us how to draw a bunny.” She pointed to a paper on the table, all smiles and unbridled energy.
“That’s great, sweetheart,” Reg said, carrying her back to her place.
“He has a hurty hand like me. See?” she said, pointing to Arik and then lifting her own right hand.
“Does it hurt today?” Reg knew she sometimes dealt with a lot of pain, particularly after the surgeries or when she was having a growth spurt.
“Nope.” She smiled and wriggled her thumb and the next two fingers. That alone was a miracle and a half, as far as Reg was concerned. Bobbie Jo’s little fingers hadn’t grown right and ended up twisted and curled. She’d had surgery on three of her fingers to correct it, and there were still two to go.
“That’s good, honey,” he said, setting her back in her chair and handing her the pencil.
“I’ll drawed a bunny for you,” she said and looked to Arik. “Would you tell me again?”
“Sure,” Arik said gently, but Reg felt his gaze on him and saw the fear and nervousness in his eyes.
Reg thought about leaving the room, but that would upset Bobbie Jo, so he knelt on the floor next to her to seem less threatening… he hoped.
“First you draw the face,” Arik said, going slowly as he demonstrated, letting the others keep up. “Then the ears.” He drew the first one. As he made the second ear, the pencil dropped from his hand, rolling along the table and onto the floor in front of Reg. He picked it up and held it out to Arik, who looked at it as though it were on fire. Then Arik slowly reached for it, gently taking it from Reg’s fingers. “Thank you.”
Reg nodded, and Arik continued with the lesson. “That’s so good.”
Bobbie Jo’s tongue stuck out slightly as she concentrated, making the shapes Arik showed her. It didn’t look as fluid as his, but Bobbie Jo was obviously pleased as punch as she added the whiskers.

Digging into the details, he finds his victim is connected to the cases he’s been following. Now he needs answers. The first person he questions is Willow Harris, a friend of his accident victim. Greg keeps pushing for answers. Willow relents and tells him everything knowing that after she sleeps with him, he won’t remember anything she said, or will he?

He had been dreaming of her, all of her. Her legs, her hips, and her lips wrapped around the head of his cock. He groaned under the spray of hot water. He was back to rocking some serious wood. He fisted his shaft and stroked to ease the pressure. He let the fantasy in his head run wild as the hot water ran over his skin. He figured if he could just get her out of his system now, he would behave like an adult later.
In his mind, he saw her naked lying on her side on his bed, her silky hair spread out over his pillow. Her smooth bare skin glowed with the light of the moonlight coming through the window, a cool breeze caressing her skin raising goose bumps all over her. She smiled at him and patted the bed next to her.
“Come keep me warm,” she said.
He leaned over her while fully dressed and gave her a gentle kiss on her sensuous lips. They were warm and lush. The taste of her filled his senses. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer to her deepening the kiss. He ran his hands over her soft skin learning every curve of her body. He allowed himself to immerse himself in her, her scent, taste, and touch. He was drowning in her and he hoped rescue never came.
The taut pink nipples on her creamy breasts were rubbing against his shirt, and he wanted nothing more than to be skin to skin with her. He drew back from her long enough to tear the clothes from his body. The buttons on his shirt flew everywhere. He didn’t care. All he cared about was being inside her.
She watched him appreciating the view once all of him was revealed. He wasn’t good enough for her, but he would do anything to be worthy of her.
He lay down next to her, and she turned to stroke his chest. Her polished nails gently scraped his skin and made him shiver. He tilted his head and took her mouth again. Her lips were incredibly soft; he could kiss her for hours. He would remember the taste of her for the rest of his life. He licked her full bottom lip. She groaned and panted. He took advantage of her breathlessness. He was nearly breathless himself. She held all the air in the room inside her, and he was desperate for a single breath. His tongue swept in and kissed her deeply.
