1.    If you could live in any book, which would you choose?
If I could live in any book, it would probably be Breaking Dawn after the final battle, or Opposition. Those are my two favorite YA series. I grew super attached to both couples. I felt like I took the journey with these characters. I laughed when they laughed, and cried when they cried. I would love to be a part of either of their families happy ever after’s
2.    Do you characters take over or are you the one telling them what to do?
My characters take over the story. Once I get an idea for a storyline, I always feel like the story reveals itself to me. It’s like I am watching a movie in bits and pieces. The story and the characters share the story with me; I write what they show me.
3.    What three books in the world would you recommend readers to read?
The three books that I would recommend are:
Obsidian (Lux Series), Fantasy Lover by Sherrilyn Kenyon, and Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.
4.   What do you do when you are not writing?

When I’m not writing I am watching TV, spending time with my family, or reading.

5.    Is there any particular author or book that influenced you in any way growing up or as an adult?
There are several authors who inspired me as a writer over the years. Sherrilyn Kenyon, Stephanie Meyers, Suzanne Collins, Jennifer Armentrout, Jamie McGuire. All of these authors have awesome series.

I have wanted to be an author since I was fifteen years old and grateful to have accomplished this dream. I have three wonderful children and a husband who defines the person I am today. I work full-time as an Ultrasound technologist in Sugarland, Texas.

I have very vivid dreams and a wild imagination. I like to read, watch tons of TV shows, and movies. I’m addicted to romance and get a thrill out of action and suspense. I write New Adult Fantasy, Sci-fi, and Paranormal-Romance.

In the Sonar series it was fun to explore different elements of Sci-fi romance and create various realms of powers for my characters. I want to show my readers that Sci-fi can be fun, but also traumatic. I hope you guys enjoy the Sonar Series.
