Title: Cog’s Beauty and the Beast
Number of Pages: 14
Word Count:  2549
Synopsis:
The castles occupants were cursed. But what wasn’t told was at night once the Beast sleeps, the household appliances get to play…
Excerpt
Cogs looked down at his belly, it was nearly midnight. The prince should be asleep soon. He wished he could spin the hands a little faster and speed up time. He hated being in this form, it was too limiting.
But, then again, if he sped up time, it just meant the prince would grow older and that much closer to his birthday. The birthday. The one that could mean they would be locked in these forms forever.
He turned away, letting her leave. He would go to her later and smooth things over. On his way to the big doors, he saw the candelabra saying something to the feather duster, she giggled at his words. Cogs called out to his best friend. “Be careful over there, her feathers are going to catch on fire.”
“Ha, ha, monsieur. She is already hot for me.” Lu allowed his flames to flicker a little higher before moving away.
The chimes in Cogs’ belly began to sound, filling the kitchen with excitement. Everyone, including Cogs, turned and headed for the back staircase leading to the lower portion of the castle.
They all stood staring at one another for what felt like an eternity. A white zap of electricity raced through the room, zipping from one item to the next.
Each person stood and stretched; smiles of joy on their faces.

Title: Goldie Locks and the Three Girls
Number of Pages: 4463
Word Count:  21
Synopsis:
Searching for a place to sleep, Goldie finds herself in a home with three beautiful women instead of bears...what happens next will change her life forever.
Excerpt
Taking a deep breath, I opened my eyes slowly and rubbed my hand across my face. My movement stilled. There was a hand draped across my waist. I stiffened, willing myself to fully awaken. Last night came back in a flash. I had kissed Tasha in the bathroom. I had never been to that bar. Everyone and everything about the place seemed to be so strange. I tried to remember how I had gotten there, but the last thing I could recall was sitting in the back seat of the limo with my head in her lap.
Looking across the room, I saw the small green jacket she had worn. There wasn’t any other article of clothing lying around. I prayed that I had not made a fool of myself. A soft breath on my shoulder made my skin rise with goose bumps. Her soft lips brushed across me.
“Hi.” Tasha’s voice was bright and cheerful. “I wondered how long it was going to take for you to wake up.”
My brain felt fuzzy and I couldn’t think. “How long have I been sleeping?” I looked over my shoulder when I felt her move away. “How did I get in here?”
Her bright green eyes and cheerful smile was all I could see.
“Only a couple hours, and you asked if you could stay here with me.”
She moved her hand up my side, placing feather light touches on the side of my breast.  My heart quickened at the touch, I couldn’t stop the reaction. Sucking in a quick breath, I closed my eyes. The thought of the kiss we had shared last night ran through my mind. The urge to do it again grew stronger. I didn’t resist. Turning over, I watched as Tasha pushed herself up off the bed and moved towards me.
She was wearing the short little black dress she had worn last night. When she lifted her leg to move across me, the material slipped up around her hips revealing the scrap of material that barely covered her. Her slight weight pressed against me. The feelings that ran through my body were surprising. I had never been attracted to a woman before. In fact, kissing Tasha was the first time I had kissed anyone other than my boyfriend. Or, should I say, ex-boyfriend. “Goldie.” She sounded stern, her bright eyes staring intently down at me, searching my face.
The look she gave me was enough to get my mind off of Josh cheating on me. When she leaned forward and placed her lips on mine, it was just like I remembered at the club.

Title: His Little Mermaid
Number of Pages: 9508
Word Count:  50
Synopsis:
The King of the sea deserves love too. When the Fates step in, King Neptune must find true love or risk remaining in human form for life…
Excerpt
Her voice came from the other side of the oversized cabin. “When you speak, you will address me as Ma’am or Mistress.”
If she knew who she was dealing with…his back to her she didn’t see the smile playing at his lips, Neptune nodded.
She rustled around inside the cabinet before he heard her close the door with a small thud. Her steps were silent on the plush carpet, yet he knew she was moving towards him.
A knock sounded at the door. “Enter.” Her tone sounded somewhat irritated.
“Mistress Alina, I came to check on you.”
Neptune recognized the voice of the man who had helped to pull him onboard the ship.
“Thank you Jake, but I can handle it from here.”
Her back was to him so Neptune raised his eyes, meeting Jakes over her shoulder.
A look of concern crossed Jakes face. “Madam, are you sure? You don’t normally take on the clients yourself.”
Clients? Neptune kept his face clear of all emotions, listening intently to the conversation at the door.“Are you questioning me Jake?” She took a step forward, her hand reached up and stroked the big man’s jawline.
An unusual feeling of jealousy surged through his veins at seeing her touching another man.
Jake quickly shook his head. “No Madam. I am just concerned for your safety. This man has not been cleared.”
“I appreciate your concern.”
She turned back towards Neptune and he quickly lowered his eyes before she caught him watching. His heart beat faster. The feeling was exhilarating. Something he had not felt in an extremely long time.

In ancient times, they were called Valkyries.
(SMALL ISLAND *HIDDEN* OFF THE COAST OF NORWAY AND DENMARK AD)
I could sense the dark currents in the atmosphere… Dark figures coming at me… I could feel them approaching from the north, southeast, and southwest. The chill that came through the air reeked of despair, famine, death, war, pestilence…signs of the dark four near—two from my left and two from my right. An ambush. Why was I not surprised?
She spoke Indicium. Time stopped from the sides and below on Earth, and the sky shook in a loud cry of roaring thunder. The Seal of Judgment opened her wings and expanded, contracting like time but with the speed of a falcon. In one breath she flew through the seal, and as she came back through, dove-like birds swarmed around her in a double helix. They slowly dissolved in a yellowish white fire. It engulfed her body, her right hand raised toward the sky as a flaming sword materialized in her hand. On the wrist of her left arm, the Seal of Judgment appeared.
The sky closed and the four figures drew closer. She realized they weren’t the true dark four; they were the messengers. She cast her sword and thrust it toward her enemies. The sword moved swiftly in a forward winding motion and transformed into flaming arrows. The arrows hit their mark.
“In the name of the Almighty, be gone, return to the lake of fire from which you came,” she commanded.
The arrows pierced them, engulfing them in flames. She hadn’t forgotten about the other two.

“Claude would like to see you in his office,” Millie said as she passed with an armload of files. She was Claude’s overworked assistant.
I stood and relieved her of the files, carrying them to her desk. Then I knocked on Claude’s door before going inside. The one thing that always surprised me about Claude’s office was that it wasn’t much bigger than mine, just much more richly appointed, with two sculptures on the credenza behind him and lighted abstract paintings on the walls.
“Close the door,” he said without looking up. I did as he asked. “Since things didn’t go your way yesterday, I’ve decided to give you an opportunity.” He lifted a small stack of files from his desk, and I stepped forward to take them. “These are the clients of Jane’s that we will be transitioning to you. I have already asked Millie to notify them, and you can arrange to meet with each of them over the next few days to get acquainted.” Claude caught my gaze. “Now these,” he said as he handed me another small stack, “are the few people from Jane’s dog pile that I believe are worth pursuing further. Those are working actors.” He pointed to the first stack. “These are people with potential. The remainders are in the Seussian stack that Millie will send letters to. Like I said, these are your challenge, especially the one on top. He has real potential. Jane saw him in”—Claude wiggled his fingers in the air—“something, and said he was good. Reminded her of Schwarzenegger. If it’s too much, you can ask Garren for help.”
That guaranteed I would do whatever it took, because he knew I would never again give Garren another chance at anything that was mine.
“Thank you.” I looked at the folders I held in my hands. I wasn’t sure what else to say. Claude had already turned his attention back to his desk, so I left the office, closing the door behind me. I passed Millie’s desk—she was already sifting through the pile of files so she could send out the “we’re sorry” letters. The woman never stopped working.
I hurried to my office and closed the door. I looked over the call list for my new clients. I’d have to call each one and set up appointments. Then I picked up the file for the guy Claude had shown an interest in. I opened it and a head shot and then a name screamed out at me: Beckett Huntington. “Son of a bitch!” I groaned, grateful the door was closed.
I was tempted to throw the file across the room. I mean, fucking hell, it seemed I couldn’t get away from him, even though I’d moved halfway across the country. I was not going to take on that asshole as a client. This was my life and my chance to make something of myself, and Beckett Huntington was not going to be a part of it. Hell, maybe I could pass the file on to Garren. Of course that would also mean Claude would know, and I’d be in a world of hurt. He had given me the file, after all. I smiled and set the file aside. Maybe Mr. Huntington could just sit in my file drawer and rot. The bastard had made my life hell for months. I sure as shit wasn’t going to do a damn thing to help him.
My phone rang and I answered it.
“You were gone early,” Val chirped.
“And you got in very late. So much for that ‘I’m not a slut’ crap.”
Val snorted. “We stayed out, talked, lost track of time, and I got back just after midnight, thank you very much.” There was a definite dreamy quality to Val’s voice. “He was really nice.”
“Are you going to see him again?” I asked, playing naïve.
“We have a date for a week from Saturday. This weekend he’s competing, and I have to work second shift at the IT help desk during the week, but he already asked me out and said he would call me during the week just to hear my voice.” I suspected Val was dancing around his apartment like a ballerina at that very moment. I could almost see him. “What did you get up to?”
“Nothing much. I had to be in the office early. I got some new clients from Claude this morning, along with some prospects. And guess who’s at the top of the prospect list? Think gorilla.”
“No way!” His voice was so loud I had to move the phone from my ear. “That thing can act… well, something other than dumb?” He cackled, and I laughed along with him. “What are you going to do?”
“I don’t know. I was so angry when I saw the file I nearly tore it to shreds.” Hell, I still wanted to. I reached for it, fighting the impulse to turn the fucking thing into confetti. “The last thing I want is to be anywhere near that piece of shit.” I kept my voice down, but I wanted to scream. I waited for Val to say something, but he was quiet. “What?”
“Don’t cut off your face to spite your nose, or however that saying goes. Do you think he recognized you?”
“I doubt it. There was almost nothing behind his eyes at all. I think his brains might have liquefied at some point. When I saw the file, I swear I had smoke coming out of my ears.”
“Okay. Calm down and think. You have a job to do, and you’re a good guy. Unlike me. I could throw him in the trash easy, but you’d always wonder if you did something wrong. So meet with him. If he has real talent, then make yourself a boatload of money off him. If he doesn’t, get his hopes up and then dash them so you can watch him fold like a house of cards.” Val laughed like the Grinch. “Either way, you win.”
“Remind me never to get on your bad side.” I chuckled, feeling a little better. “I need to go.”

1.    If you could live in any book, which would you choose?
If I could live in any book, it would probably be Breaking Dawn after the final battle, or Opposition. Those are my two favorite YA series. I grew super attached to both couples. I felt like I took the journey with these characters. I laughed when they laughed, and cried when they cried. I would love to be a part of either of their families happy ever after’s
2.    Do you characters take over or are you the one telling them what to do?
My characters take over the story. Once I get an idea for a storyline, I always feel like the story reveals itself to me. It’s like I am watching a movie in bits and pieces. The story and the characters share the story with me; I write what they show me.
3.    What three books in the world would you recommend readers to read?
The three books that I would recommend are:
Obsidian (Lux Series), Fantasy Lover by Sherrilyn Kenyon, and Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.
4.   What do you do when you are not writing?

When I’m not writing I am watching TV, spending time with my family, or reading.

5.    Is there any particular author or book that influenced you in any way growing up or as an adult?
There are several authors who inspired me as a writer over the years. Sherrilyn Kenyon, Stephanie Meyers, Suzanne Collins, Jennifer Armentrout, Jamie McGuire. All of these authors have awesome series.

I have wanted to be an author since I was fifteen years old and grateful to have accomplished this dream. I have three wonderful children and a husband who defines the person I am today. I work full-time as an Ultrasound technologist in Sugarland, Texas.

I have very vivid dreams and a wild imagination. I like to read, watch tons of TV shows, and movies. I’m addicted to romance and get a thrill out of action and suspense. I write New Adult Fantasy, Sci-fi, and Paranormal-Romance.

In the Sonar series it was fun to explore different elements of Sci-fi romance and create various realms of powers for my characters. I want to show my readers that Sci-fi can be fun, but also traumatic. I hope you guys enjoy the Sonar Series.

Jason Grant runs his own IT business from home, owns his own home, and has the best friend he could imagine. What he doesn’t have, or believe he will ever have, is love. When Jason catches a glimpse of his new neighbor on moving day, his libido ignites and his fascination in piqued. He even manages to concoct an excuse to go over and meet the man who makes him hope and want for more than he has in years.
Keith Skyler is a shifter in a world where his kind is known to only a few, but they don’t often mix and they never mate. Keith has been hoping for a mate since before he can remember, but gay lynx don’t have true mates. As far as he knows, they don’t have mates at all. However, while moving his little family across Seattle—and away from their tribe—his reality tips and spins more than he thought possible.

When these two men meet over a dish of five-cheese broccoli-noodle casserole, sparks fly. Who knew a welcome to the neighborhood gift could give both of them their chance at love?

“It’s wonderful you thought to schedule a slumber party for Taylor—” He just hoped she didn’t kill him for his comment. “—maybe I should call one of the guys and crash over at their place for the night?” Or three.
The sputtering on the other end of the line made Keith smile. His father hated when he didn’t do as he was told, but being in his father’s home as Adam threw women at him was not his idea of fun. “You will be here as soon as you arrive back home. You will present yourself with a smile on, clean, neat, and as close to happy as you can manage. You only have a few years before you take over as alpha, yet you still haven’t settled down. Don’t have an heir. Aren’t even seeing anyone.” Well, the man was wrong on the last two. He had an heir, through his sister: Zeke. And he was dating; Jason had agreed to start seeing him. They planned to spend the whole weekend together, in fact.
“Father—”
“Now,” his father demanded.
“I’m always charming and polite when you do this to me, but throwing big-boobed airheads at me is not the way to endear me to your wishes. I have no interest in mating until I find the other half of my soul. You know that.” And it will be a male that completes me, but we won’t mention that part yet….
“Such a childish attitude, Keith. Most shifters do not have fated mates, as you know, so waiting for someone who most likely doesn’t exist is asinine. Besides, as the heir, you are responsible for having children. You must have an heir! The Skyler line will not die out because you want to be too picky.”
“I will attend. I will talk to the women you picked out. However, I will not take any but my mate home with me. See you shortly, Father.”
Not waiting for a response, he clicked off the call and tossed his cell onto the seat beside him. Keith had to pull over a few minutes later when he realized he was shaking. He didn’t want the police to notice his weaving or distraction, nor did he enjoy the idea of wrecking his car. He loved his Shelby GT. He’d restored it from the junkyard he’d found it in back in high school. If it were up to him, it would be the only car he would ever drive. Eh, that or Taylor’s truck. His father’s heavy-handed manipulations were driving him crazy. He’d hated when his alpha tried to fix him up, but now that he’d found Jason, the idea made him ill to even consider.
It took him a little while, but he got himself under control—not that his cat was helping. No, he wanted to go back to Jason and claim his mate properly. He didn't see why they had to wait. Once he was calmer, Keith entered the roadway again, and too soon for his liking, he pulled up in front of his father’s house. Before he’d so much as gotten the car door open, Taylor was there, waiting with her open arms and loving personality ready to wrap around him.
“I didn’t know about the fems ambush until just a little bit ago. I’m so sorry, Keith,” she whispered as she hugged him. “This batch has a few that aren’t the vapid, big-boobed wonders he usually finds you, at least.”
He knew she was trying to make him feel better, but the thought of any female, especially now, made his skin crawl and his cat want out. “Vapid or not, they aren’t my mate, Tay. It feels disloyal to even go in and pretend.”
“I get that, but unless you want to explain who your mate is tonight, which I don’t advise, then playing nice is the right choice. It’s not like you have to make out with them or anything. Just chat, be dull and boring, and escape as soon as possible.”
“I wish it were that easy. But I’ll be good, no matter how much I don’t want to.”
“I know, but you won’t have to put up with this very long tonight, and the gathering is tomorrow night, then you can escape. I can’t leave ’til this weekend,” she added, her bottom lip puffed out far enough to make many five-year-olds green with envy—especially hers.
“You’re going to love living there, Taylor. The trees are great, and I’ve already found areas that are flush with hares to hunt. I can’t wait to show you and Zeke.”
“Can’t wait to get there too,” she squealed. “But for now, go play nice prince and smile for the grumpy old cat in there.”
“Yeah, that makes me want to go right in. Oh yeah, no it doesn’t. But if we stay out here much longer, he’ll come out looking for me.” Swallowing hard and pasting on a smile, Keith followed Taylor into the house. The cloying scents of many perfumes attacked his nose before he’d gotten any farther than the entrance.
“How can you breathe in here?” he grumbled but made his way farther into the house to meet with his father’s newest batch of ever-hopefuls. Reminding himself that he’d get to spend the entire weekend with Jason helped him make it into the living room and beyond.
